Mowing and Snow Removal

The Work consists of furnishing all labor, equipment, material and supervision for turf mowing and snow removal services required by the County, as more specifically identified in the Bid sheet and as stated below. Work will be in multiple areas throughout Jefferson County, including residential, commercial, industrial and rural areas. Work will be performed on or near various arterial, collector and residential streets. The Work consists of mowing and trimming grass and native turf in or directly adjacent to public Rights-Of-Way (ROW). Work may include manual labor for snow removal, tree and shrub replacement and stump removal. Work shall be performed using quality professional grade equipment. Work should be expected to include: 1.Set up/tear down traffic control devices 2.Blowing and cleaning mow/trim clippings from curb lines 3.Pick up and disposal trash/litter 4.Protecting irrigation systems and auxiliary equipment 5.Conducting pre-mow inspections 6.Mechanical mowing and trimming 7.Manual labor for snow removal on pedestrian bridges and 8.sidewalks. 9.Tree and Shrub Removal and Replacement and Stump Removal Contractor shall perform all traffic control, mobilizations, irrigation head locates, storm water management and trash pick-up required to accomplish the Work.
